The Desimone-Briscoe School Levee Rehabilitation MATOC Project for the US Army Core of Engineers – Seattle district involved the excavation and reconstruction of the levee along the green river in Tukwila, WA. Major in-water work included the excavation of the earthen levee, the import and installation of 14,000 tons of heavy loose riprap, grading and placement of native embankment fill above the ordinary high-water elevation and asphalt trail restoration.
